This award-winning series turned scratch-off tickets into a full-blown experience—think collectible, genre-hopping fun from rock to country to pop. Players didn’t just scratch, they connected, collected, and came back for more.

One holiday series broke records with an $8.5M bid—the highest Brightstar had ever received—and even starred in a Florida statewide commercial. Another captured the spirit of New Hampshire so well, the governor asked for poster versions for his office.

These tickets didn’t just look good—they opened doors, won contracts, and proved that bold, smart design can steal the spotlight and seal the deal.

Brightstar Frosty Fun

This project was all about storytelling and expanding reach. I created a genre-spanning series of winter-themed tickets designed to attract a broader range of players.

The "Frosty Fun" series follows a snowman through playful settings—from winter scenes to the desert—melting along the way. The evolving visuals add humor and continuity, encouraging players to collect the full set.

Each ticket was part of a bigger story, encouraging players to collect all five—a design strategy that turned simple scratch-offs into an immersive, collectible experience.

Music Family of Games 

This ticket series was intentionally designed to strike a chord with a diverse range of players by embracing multiple music genres. From rock to country to pop and beyond, each ticket featured its own unique vibe, broadening the game’s appeal and creating a sense of excitement that resonated with every kind of music lover.

 

By blending artistry and strategy, these designs transformed a simple game into a vibrant, immersive experience that players couldn’t resist.

In 2022, my holiday game designs secured the highest bid Brightstar had ever received
an impressive $8.5 million.

 

These tickets weren’t just eye-catching; they were featured in Florida’s statewide holiday commercial, sharing screen time with holiday magic in living rooms across the state.​

New Hampshire 603

These tickets were meticulously crafted to showcase the very best of New Hampshire, celebrating its unique charm and promoting tourism. Each was inspired by a winning photo from a public contest featuring favorite local spots. I reimagined the images as bold, travel-poster-style illustrations highlighting iconic state landmarks.

Their impact was so profound that the governor requested they be printed as posters to adorn his office—a true testament to their design power

Even more rewarding, my designs secured Brightstar a highly coveted contract with the state after years of pursuit, proving that great design can truly open doors and make a lasting impact.
